Mother’s Day Container Gardens

Sunday, May 8th at 9 AM

On Mother’s Day, we’ll be hosting a workshop to plant large annual containers to last you through the summer. We’ll be talking about “recipes” for mixed containers and which plants perform well together in the same pot. Mothers and children attending together is encouraged! You can choose to plant one pot together or plant two pots separately. Either way, we hope this is a bonding experience and that the flowers remind you of Mother’s Day all summer long.

This class is closed for registration.

Rose Pruning & Propagation

Sunday, May 22nd at 9 AM

Nick, our resident expert on roses, will be sharing his knowledge all about rose varieties, propagating roses, and pruning to keep them healthy. This is a hands-on workshop where participants will each receive a 3 gallon hybrid tea rose to prune during the class and take home to plant. Please bring along your own pair of gloves!

Price: $ 50.00

Cross Creek Nursery offers classes and workshops on all things related to gardening. We offer one series of workshops in the spring and one series in the fall. In the winter, we offer a variety of holiday workshops like wreathmaking. For every class and workshop, it’s our goal to offer a hands-on experience where each participant will go home with knowledge and something they made themselves. We encourage groups and families signing up to make it a fun group activity! For floral workshops, check out our monthly Wine & Design nights sponsored by Cross Creek Florist. Each month, we teach participants how to make a new floral arrangement. Cross Creek Florist also hosts private design parties perfect for kids of all ages!
