Bloom Time: Bold lace cap blooms in pink, blue and purple (depending on soil acidity), blooming in summer and fall.
Special Features: These flowers just keep coming all summer long, first on old wood and later on new wood. Heat tolerant.
Uses in the Landscape: Borders, foundation plantings, specimen or containers.
Care Tips: Prune after bloom time is over. Use a slow-release, granular fertilizer formulated for acid-loving plants, such as Espoma Holly-tone or a balanced shrub fertilizer, applied in early spring and again in late June/early July to boost blooms.
