The Marigold!  A true summer annual that brings joy and color all summer long.  You’ll find them in bright yellows, oranges, and maybe even a bright orange with a burst of vivid deep red in the center.  Being compact these adaptable and super low-maintenance flowers are great any where you like want that vibrant pop of color. Containers, window boxes, gardens, and walkways, to name a few ideas.   These quick growing plants are not fussy at all.  Just good garden soil and water during dry weather should be enough to keep them happy, as long as the soil pH stays about 6.0.  They don’t need fertilizer, so talk about plant it and leave it.
