Philodendron Silver Sword

Philodendron hastatum, often called Philodendron Silver Sword has large, pale-green leaves that seem to glimmer silver in certain lighting. Like many varieties of Philodendron, Silver Sword grows upward with a vining habit and benefits from the support of a trellis or moss pole. However, unlike some philodendron varieties, Silver Sword is a distinct species rather than a cultivar of an existing species; this means the plant will never revert and lose its fantastic coloring. When the silver sword is displayed with other houseplants, the silvery green color really stands out!
