This stunning, deciduous shrub offers large mophead type flowers that will bloom on both old and new wood.  As with most hydrangeas, the exact color of the flowers will depend on the pH level of the soil.  To get the most out of this plant, It prefers to be kept out of the afternoon summer sun and will benefit from some protection from wind and storms.  Once established it can grow up to 3-4 feet high and wide.
