⭐Employee of the year: Gelo ⭐

We are proud to recognize Gelo as our Employee of the Year for 2025. Gelo has been part of the Cross Creek family for more than 17 years. He began working with us in 2002, spent six years on our landscaping team, and after taking some time away, returned in 2015. He has been with us ever since.

Gelo has always worked in landscaping and truly enjoys what he gets to do each day. He takes pride in his work and values being responsible, dependable, and consistent on every job. At Cross Creek, teamwork, respect, and a family-like environment matter, and Gelo represents those values daily. He has strong relationships with supervisors and coworkers, and our clients appreciate how approachable he is. He takes the time to answer questions, communicate clearly, and make sure every client is happy with the work being done.

Outside of work, Gelo enjoys spending time with his family, especially his daughter. His weekends are often spent at the park and being involved in school activities, including chaperoning and participating in fundraisers. Family is very important to him, and that care and dedication carry over into his work.

Being nominated for Employee of the Year came as a big surprise to Gelo. He did not expect it and was truly grateful for the recognition. His happiness and motivation reflect his long-standing dedication to Cross Creek and the pride he takes in his career.

As Gelo shared, “Cross Creek takes care of their employees with respect and lots of values that we carry.”

He would like to thank the staff, bosses, and coworkers for their support over the years. It means a great deal to him and his family, and he is thankful to continue growing his career at Cross Creek.

Check out this jaw-dropping transformation!✨🌿 An outdated concrete pool deck was completely reimagined into a clean, modern poolside patio designed to maximize the view and elevate the entire space. Even with weather delays and unexpected challenges along the way, our team stayed focused and delivered a transformation we are incredibly proud of.

We removed existing fencing, opened up the space to highlight the lake view, and installed new plantings to keep the area feeling clean and inviting. The project included grading, sod installation, concrete work to define the pool area, and carefully placed pavers to create a polished, contemporary look.
