Growing conditions where the soil drains quickly and does not stay wet for long. Dry soil plants thrive in areas with fast drainage such as sandy or rocky ground. They are well suited for hot locations and can handle long periods without extra watering. These varieties do best when the soil is allowed to fully dry between waterings.
