Dormant in Winter, emerges in Spring with bright golden yellow foliage. Transitions in Summer to a yellow-green appearance, but a light prune will bring the bright yellow right back. Only reaching 2-3′, an excellent landscape choice for the “front row” of a foundation design with taller green back row shrubs. No real pest issues, just keep hydrated twice a week in the first growing season and during dry spells in future years.
