A fast growing deciduous shrub with dark violet-purple flower spikes.  Excellent use as a foundation shrub, accent plant or background in borders or garden centerpiece.  Plant in full to partial sun.  Will grow to 6-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide.  Plant in well draining soil.
