Employee Spotlight: Will Climo 🌟🌟

Will Climo joined Cross Creek over a year and a half ago as part of our landscaping crew and has since transitioned into his new role as Client Relations Manager. Born and raised in Chesterfield, Virginia, Will attended Virginia Tech, studying Hospitality. Before joining Cross Creek, he spent seven years working in restaurants, mostly at country clubs, while gardening in his free time.

Wanting a change of direction, Will was drawn to Cross Creek for the opportunity to work outside and with people. Starting on the landscaping crew, he quickly grew into a crew leader, managing plant installations and some hardscape projects for a year and a half.

To prepare for his new role, Will has been spending time shadowing the grounds crews during the winter, assisting with cutbacks, mulching, and learning the workflow firsthand. This experience has given him a strong understanding of scheduling, routes, and what it takes to complete the work. Helping him hit the ground running as he begins meeting with prospective grounds clients.

Will is excited to learn a new side of the business, building on the relationships he formed while in landscaping. He enjoys the work-life balance, the variety of plants, and seeing finished projects come to life. For Will, the most rewarding part of his work is providing superior service, collaborating with great teams, and meeting people from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Will enjoys traveling, gardening, and exploring new restaurants around the area. He recently visited Puerto Rico and, when he’s not working, he spends time with Bruce, his 9-month-old puppy, taking him on walks, to the park, and playing fetch.
