Cross Creek cares about the community. We are proud to have served Metro Richmond since 1974.
Cross Creek supports our local community through charitable in kind giving to many schools, churches and local charities. Cross Creek has an annual work day where their employees go out in the community and help clean up a neglected park/school or cemetery. Cross Creek also donates time and materials on other projects throughout the year.
Fall 2015 Project: War Memorial Monument at Midlothian High School.
Cross Creek donated the time and resources to install the pathway and landscaping around the newly created War Memorial Monument at Midlothian High School.
January 2015 Project: Providence Elementary School Cleanup and Landscaping Friday January 30th.
While the Students were off for a Teacher Work Day, 15 of our employees came in and installed fresh landscaping along the bus loop. Beside the time associated to perform the project, Cross Creek also donated all plant material for the project including: 30 Carissa Hollies, 19 Nandina Gulfstream, 14 Yards of mulch, 2 Yards of Topsoil, and 3 tons of gravel. Check out some photos of the project:
2014 East End Cemetery Cleanup
In 2014 We served East End Cemetery an African American Cemetery dating from the late 19th Century. The Cemetery had become overgrown and many of the markers were completely covered over. Our team came in with our volunteer staff, expertise and equipment and helped in the restoration process.
